Ironwoods Beach Elopement

Ironwoods Beach real name is Oneloa Bay, and it is a breathtaking location in Kapalua, Maui. Emily and Manuel decided to do their elopement here on the cliffside, and embraced the wind which is common for this area of the island. Emily’s wedding dress was gorgeous and flowy, perfect for the dramatic scenery at the bay. Rev Joe Miles led them in a sweet ceremony that included personal vows. Afterwards, we explored the cliffs before heading down to the sand.

The Weather at Ironwoods Beach

This side of the island is often windy, especially later in the day towards sunset. On this particular day, the clouds rolled over the mountains and we noticed a rain coming our way. Emily and Manuel didn’t mind the sprinkles that came down as they had their first kiss as husband and wife. Soon after, a vibrant rainbow appeared across the sky, stretching from mauka to makai. Embracing the elements of the earth on the elopement day is also worth it and full of surprises!
