There is nothing better than getting off the beaten path with your love for a Haleakala sunrise elopement. Haleakala is one of the most powerful places on the planet, and a special place to elope in Hawaii. At 10,023 feet above sea level, this volcano is known as House of the Sun and a sacred place with beautiful vistas and craters.

Paul and Danielle decided they wanted to do their intimate elopement on the mountain, and I helped them plan an elopement that fit their adventurous souls. Danielle woke up at 1am and got her make up done by Bridal Beauty By Giovanna who is the master of waking up early for sunrise elopements. They took off from Wailea and made the trek up Haleakala, and we met at the visitors center at 4am.

Chrissy Kapoor from Maui Ceremonies met us there (one of my favs!), and we all got ready to caravan up. Danielle and Paul did a quick change into their suit and dress, and we were onwards under a blanket of stars to our ceremony location. These two said their vows as the sun was rising, which made for an intimate ceremony with tears and laughter. Afterwards, we did photographs in a few different areas as the sun warmed our skin.
